Congratulations for making the shortlist! Are you ready to document, shape, and share the continent's sporting culture?
Is a Kenya-focused youth media and creative storytelling initiative designed to support the next generation of African creators in documenting and shaping the continent's sporting stories.
The initiative brings all these together, equipping participants with the skills, confidence, and connections to create meaningful work and drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
Hands-on craft time — sharpen how you shoot, write, edit, and structure a sports story that actually lands.
Sessions built to grow you as a leader in the newsrooms, studios, and creative rooms you'll walk into next.
Direct time with creators, mentors, and working voices in sport and media from across borders.
See how sporting stories get told differently across cultures — and find out exactly where yours fits.
Build alongside a cohort of peers as sharp and hungry as you are — you'll leave with a network, not just a certificate.
No two days look the same, but every one of them draws from the same set of experiences — layered together to push your craft, your confidence, and your network forward at once.
Hands-on sessions where you're making, not just watching — building the reps that sharpen your craft.

Working creators and industry voices unpacking how real sports stories get made, pitched, and told.
Built to strengthen how you lead — your team, your project, your point of view.

Real conversations with mentors, partners, and peers who can open the next door.
Group challenges that turn what you've learned into work you actually walk away with.

One participant leaves Nairobi with more than a certificate — a real head start on a career telling Africa's sporting stories.
A paid placement working alongside the team shaping how On tells its stories.
Your work told to a continental audience, published with two of the region's leading culture platforms.
A look at the creators, mentors, and moments from the Voices In Motion × On community.
